I have chosen the Disney movie The Princess & The Frog as my text. This movie is the first time Disney has featured a brackish character and/or a princess who is low. I find it participation that even though this movie was written in the 2000s there are still examples cultural stereotypes, racism and some(a) sexism tones to the movie. I find this interesting because when we unravel to consider of Disney, we tend to think of happy, carefree children movies that are great fun for the faultless family and in-general is essentially good. But we dont think of the negatives that major index finger be associated with the Disney brand of movies. The 2009 Disney animated film The Princess and The Frog shows the struggles of the authorised character who is a scummy infantile strong drab fair sex, Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose), living in roaring 1920s mod Orleans and the lengths she is willing to go to in request to pass on her day-dream. The story progresses through t he struggles she faces throughout her flavour from a young child into adulthood. Growing up her family was poor and her parents have to run short hard to make a living instilling in a young Tiana that she excessively has to work hard if she wants to bring home the bacon her dreams.

The movie shows Tiana existence dedicated to achieving her dream of opening a eating folk while she pushes everything else to this side including her family and friends. She makes an offer but is afterwards told that her dream restaurant was sold to someone else and that a woman of her rearwardsground should think back her place. After finding this out she starts doing things she ordinarily wouldnt do, i.e. osculate the talking batrachian Prin! ce Naveen who promised to buy her the restaurant she is dreaming of if she intermit him a kiss; in which she chances change into a frog herself.
